Who we are

Empower Partners LLC, Prishtina, Kosovo, runs www.empowerpartners.eu and decides how personal data collected through it is used. In data protection terms, we are the controller.

This policy covers the website only. Personal data we handle during a client engagement is covered by the agreement for that engagement.

What we collect when you browse

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.

Our hosting provider processes the technical data every website needs to deliver a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. It keeps this in short-term logs used for security and operations.

All fonts, images, and scripts are served from our own domain. Your browser does not contact any third-party service while you browse.

Links to LinkedIn and Facebook are plain links. Nothing from those services loads until you click one.

What we collect when you contact us

When you send the contact form, we receive:

• Your name, email address, and message.
• Your organisation and focus area, if you fill them in.
• Your IP address and the time you sent the message, which we include with your message to spot abuse.

To block repeated automated submissions, the form server counts messages per IP address, up to five per hour. That counter is held in memory only and cleared within the hour.

If you email us directly, we receive whatever your email contains.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To reply to your inquiry and discuss a possible engagement. Basis: steps you asked us to take before any contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
• To keep the site and the form secure and free of spam. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.

We do not add you to mailing lists, sell or rent your data, or use it for profiling or automated decisions.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of service providers, each only for the purpose listed:

• Vercel Inc. hosts the website and runs the contact form. The form runs in Vercel's Frankfurt, Germany region.
• Name.com hosts our email. Contact form messages are delivered to our mailbox on its servers.

We share personal data with no one else unless the law requires it.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves Kosovo or the European Economic Area, they transfer it under the safeguards they publish, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries and related emails: up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted. If you become a client, the retention terms of the engagement and our legal accounting obligations apply instead.
• The form's per-IP counter: less than one hour.
• Hosting logs: the short period set by the hosting provider for security and operations.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy.
• Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
• Delete your data, or restrict how we use it.
• Stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest.
• Send your data to you or another organisation in a portable format.

Email info@empowerpartners.eu. We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

You also have the right to complain to the Information and Privacy Agency of Kosovo (Agjencia për Informim dhe Privatësi), which oversees Law No. 06/L-082 on Protection of Personal Data. If you are in the European Union, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country instead.

Security

The whole site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. Access to the mailbox that receives inquiries is limited to our team.

Children

This site is for businesses and institutions. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
